Ignor-Imus vs. Al Charlatan Steel Cage Match

I'm SO tired of all the Don Imus talk. Yes, the guy is a sleazy jerk. Has been for years. He looks like the sort who hangs around school yards in a trenchcoat. I would like to see one of those "steel cage", loser gets out of town WWE style wrestling matches with Ignor-Imus vs. the "Rev" Al Charlatan.

I'm Baaaaaaack!

The Razor has been out of town, actually got back a few days ago, but with so much to do after almost a week away, I'm just now catching up. Visiting my wife's sister in Lima, Ohio. My son and I went up to Detroit, only 2 hours away, and lived to tell about it!

From there, we crossed Lake Erie into Windsor, Ont. We had no problems getting in, but a bit of a hassle getting back in as I did not have a copy of my birth certificate. After a bit of a lecture from a Wilford Brimley-like Homeland Security rent-a cop named Ballard and a 20-30 minute delay, we were allowed to proceed into the U.S. What, were they afraid we would try to smuggle Celine Dion bootleg cds, or start liking hockey and saying "eh" at the end of every sentence?

In NCAA Action, Duke Loses!

In NCAA Tournament action tonight, the media darling Duke Blue Devils lost in a slight upset to Virginia Commonwealth by 2 points. Pass a crying towel to Dick Vitale. Two of his man crushes lost today, Coach K and Bobby Knight. If John Calamary loses tomorrow, Dookie V. will be unconsolable.

Is Borat The Bastard Son Of Freddie Mercury?

Look at pictures of the two of them and tell me that there is not a rather strong resemblance. At least the Freddie Mercury of the early 80's, you know, the "Another one bites the dust" era when the front man of Queen had the cheesy mustache and the Village People look? In fact, when a co-worker of mine heard the news about Mercury, his exact words were: "Another one bites the dust".

According to Borat's "bio" he was born in 1972, before Queen was a household name, the band I mean, but after Freddie Bulsara (Mercury's given name) was an adult. He could have had a liason with a Kazakh prostitute, he was claiming to be hetero then. Look at the images and decide for yourself.

Bush and Chavez

The feud between these two gets more silly all the time, at least from Chavez' recent behavior following Bush around in Latin America. Bush may be a prick, but he's our prick for another couple of years. These two should just have one of those WWF steel-cage "loser gets out of town" 'rasslin' matches and get it over with.

The Patriot Act

Or should we say: the so-called "Patriot" Act? This law is clearly unconstitutional, giving way too much power to the executive branch of government and doing an end run around the separation of powers. With Bush's approval ratings at an all time low in his 6 year reign of error, Congress is finally taking a look at this monstrosity, or at least parts of it. Long overdue, in my book.
