Bill O'Reilly and Mike Wallace on 60 Minutes

As I write this, I can just imagine a few right wingers climbing out on the ledge over O'Reilly's appearance on 60 minutes tonight. O'Reilly said he is: pro gun control, pro civil unions (not just for homosexuals he added), anti death penalty and other positions that are not typical for Republicans. It's not O'Reilly's views that irritate me, it's his manner and the way he bullies guests on his show.

Mark Foley Emerges From Seclusion

Turn The Page!

Free Online Dating Service

Just so you know, there is a free online dating service out there, something that has been needed for awhile. I wish www.justsayhi.com had been there when my wife and I met online 4 years ago. It would have saved us both some money.

At www.justsayhi.com, no credit card is ever needed. I have written an article on www.associatedcontent.com/article/121811/internet_dating_why_the_stigma.html about online dating, which could be helpful to some of you, also. It's about the stigma attached to online dating, which is just silly. Rather than hook ups or blind dates, it makes more sense in this day and age to cruise on the information superhighway than cruising literally in your car looking for dates.

So, if you're into online dating, give www.justsayhi.com a try. It wasn't around when my wife and I were looking, but it could work just as well for you, without the expense.

Clutter?

Are you like my family, with way more stuff than you have storage space? We have closets absolutely packed, there's nobody in there, just thought I'd clear that up. Anyway, our little one car garage barely leaves enough room for a Dodge Stratus, let alone a Ford F-150, our other vehicle.

Don't even get me started on the attic. There are two Christmas trees, loads of ornaments, old clothes, for all I know, Jimmy Hoffa's body might be up there as well. I haven't noticed any unusual odors, other than the puppy's accidents, but ol' Jimmy could be mummified by now.

Now, a word from our sponsors: if this is you and your family, or maybe even if it's just you in a one bedroom apartment, you might find your solution at storage concierge. Get a self-storage quote for free. You can rent anywhere from a 5X5 unit to a 10X30 and choose between climate controlled or not. Just click on storage concierge to get a self storage quote for free. If your running out of room for all your stuff, give storage concierge a try, to get a free self-storage quote. Get your attic or garage uncluttered and give Jimmy Hoffa a decent burial.

Girls Gone Wild

The happiest person in the world must be Lisa Nowak right about now, sort of. With all the furor over Britney Spears, her 24 hour stint in rehab, the bald head and tattoos, Nowak has been bumped off the front page. Nowak might have to do something really outrageous to get back in the news, at least unless she is convicted of a crime.

Time to Get back to normal, whatever that is

Christmas may be "the most wonderful time of the year", it definitely is one of the most stressful with all the traffic, people scurrying to get all their shopping done, sometimes fighting for the last Tickle me Elmo or PS3 or whatever the rage is this year. Now is the time to return any gifts that don't work, don't fit or are duplicates, or regift them at a later date. And move on. 2006 is almost gone, time to make New Year's resolutions, no need to wait until Jan. 1, put the so-called "War on Christmas" or PC greetings behind.
